12 March: Guest lecture of Tom de Bruijn on a variety of EU related topics based on his own experience

Tom de Bruijn, former Permanent Representative of the Netherlands at the EU, will give a lecture on a variety of EU related topics based on his own experience. Join us at the 12th of March at the Europe House in The Hague!  

Background information

The European Parliament and the University of Leiden present a lecture of Tom de Bruijn on Wednesday the 12th of March at the Europe House in The Hague. Tom de Bruijn, currently member of the Dutch State Council (advisory body to the Dutch government), will speak about his own experience as the Permanent Representative of the Netherlands at the EU. While serving the Netherlands, Tom de Bruijn experienced important European topics from close by such as: the Dutch no-vote on the European Constitution in 2005, the functioning of the European Internal Market and the EU enlargement with 10 new EU Member States.




Practical information

The lecture will be held at the 12th of March at 16:00 till 17:15 at the Europe House in The Hague (Korte Vijverberg 6).
